Every 3D² Audio product you add works in tandem with the entire product range; addressing different forms of unwanted energy throughout the system. The IEC FIELD MARSHAL — a wafer-shaped, precision die-cut layer of our patented 3D² Material, designed to wrap snugly around Hi-Fi IEC cables. Positioned at the point where the power cable enters an amplifier or actively powered loudspeaker, FIELD MARSHAL acts as a controlled buffer around the electromagnetic field generated at the equipment interface — combining Earthing by Capacitance with our unique approach to mechanical damping. THE STARTING POINT The starting point for 3D² and the foundation of neutral vibration control. Versatile by design, 3D² Material can be placed beneath virtually any audio component, cable, power supply or power board — and layered throughout a Hi-Fi rack to control vibration wherever it occurs. Unlike conventional isolation feet designed primarily to separate components mechanically, 3D² works at the material level, providing controlled damping wherever it is placed. One material.   • Audio systems have progressively become more revealing to the point where they now have an extremely high degree of resolution. That is desirable but it also leads to the system easily revealing the bad as well as the good.

  • Noise is amplified along each component leaving a smeared bass, closed soundstage and indistinct vocal as well as other issues. Call it ‘noise floor’ or ‘smearing ‘ the effect is to color the sound. When removed, the effect will take you from listening to a ‘hi-fi system’ to actually be in the room with the musicians.
